  Good morning,ladies and gentlemen,

  I want to say, it’s my great honor to be here,the beautiful and cool city to share my teaching opinion with you.First, please allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is I come from Tangshan city.

  一、Talking about the teaching marerial.

  Today, I will talk about lesson 19: let’s go to the park! of book8,the edition of Hebei province. First, let me talk about the teaching material.It’s the third new teaching lesson of unit 3. In this unit,LiMing,Jenny and Danny enjoy summer activites and discuss summer vocations plans. The material is a typical long text teaching lesson.It mainly deals with one summer activity topic,that is flying kites.

  二、Talking about the students.

  Now,let’s focus on the students I’ll face.

  The material caters for the students of Grade Six.They have been familiar with these topics such as weather,season,shapes and activites through three and half years -circulative study from the low grade. And this time,we should pay more attention to foster the students’ ability of putting new and old knowledge together to form their own language quality.

  三、Talking about the teaching aims.

  This time, let me talk about the teaching aims.

  1、Aims on knowledge.

  1)The students can read ,write, say and aurally understand the following vocabulary: lie,cloud and sky.

  2)The students can use the sentence pattern: It looks like…fluently.

  2、Aims on skills.

  1) Can use the knowledge they’ll learn today correctly in their lives.

  2) Develop the students’ ability of working in groups.

  3、Aims on emotion.

  Through different ways of teaching,such as sketch,chant and group-work and prosessive evaluation from the beginning to the end of the whole class to enhance the students’confidence. Let them dair to talk,want to say out their opinions,want to exchange with others. And at the same time,to foster the good character of loving nature and loving lives.

  四、Talking about the methods of teaching and learning.

  And now, teaching and learning methods.

  In this lesson I’ll mainly use “Task-based” teaching method. That is to say, I will let the Ss learn in real situations, finish a task by doing a group work to help the Ss to get a better understanding of the main idea of the story. The students gain language knowledge by cooperation, experience and participation.

  五、Talking about the teaching procedures and purposes of my designing.

  And now, I’ll mainly talk about the teaching procedures,the most importment part of my teaching.

  (一).Class opening

  My class begins with a free talk, such as hello,how’s the weather today,what’s the season, Do you like to play in the park? And so on to lead out the topic .It aims to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss and at the same time it provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next step,text- teaching.

  (二).Text-teaching

  This lesson is a text teaching.I will finish it in three steps:pre-reading, while-reading and post reading.

  step1: pre-reading

  First, let me talk about the first step, pre-reading.

  1)Step1:通过简笔画教授新授单词lie,cloud,sky.

  I have three steps to finish this part.在Step1中,我通过边画简笔画边与学生交流这种形式,呈现教授lie,cloud and sky三个单词及其用法,扫清语言障碍。

  2)Step2:Then is the step2. I this part, I ‘ll teach It looks like. Becauseit’sthekey point. In order to let the students understand and use correctly. I will use a set of ppts to show out and practice.

  从教师引导到机械操练最后到灵活运用,学生对It looks like…能基本掌握,符合孩子们的认知规律。

  3)讨论图片。That is to say,I have four pictures of the story.

  Ilead the Ss to talk about the pictures.

  Picture1:

  1)What is Danny doing?

  2)Do you think the kite is going to fly?

  Picture 2:

  1) What happened to Danny?引导学生明白run into的意思.操练Danny ran into a tree.

  2) What is Danny going to do?

  Picture3:

  1) What is Danny doing now?

  2) Is Danny happy now?

  Picture4:

  1)What are they doing?

  2) Is Danny happy now? why?

  3) Danny likes watching clouds ,but he doesn’t like flying kites .

  Danny likes watching clouds better than flying kites.在学生们运用自己语言知识进行讨论的过程中,教师将一些本课出现的touch words and phrases,像run into and faster and faster适时的引入,有效的引导学生在已有语言知识的基础上对于新知识正迁移。那么在感知语篇大意的基础上,下一步就是深入接触语篇。

  Step2: While-reading.

  That is While-reading.

  In this part, I design two activites.

  1)听录音,连线。让学生了解语篇大意。

  2) Watch the big screen with two questions.

  ①How’s the weather?

  ②What does Danny’s kite look like?

  通过问题让学生进一步了解语篇内容,

  Step3: Post-reading.在深入了解语篇内容之后,接下来就是检查巩固学生对于语篇的理解。

  Recur the text in a different way.

  教师创造性的将课文以Danny日记 A Beautiful Day的方式呈现,同学们选词填空,这样做既考察巩固了学生对于语篇大意的理解,又为重点单词和词组提供了一个书写的训练,培养了学生汲取主要信息和阅读理解的能力。

  4.Group-work.

  Then group work.

  在前面教学大量知识输入input的基础上,我采用小组活动这种形式,帮助学生将所学知识转化为自己的语言技能,为每一位同学提供output的机会,小组同学运用教师课前发放的含有key words的图片,合作讨论图片,鼓励学生大胆创新。and ask several groups to do the group work.

  5.Chant.

  Then is the relax time.

  学生喜欢chant这个形式,换一种形式激发学习兴趣,巩固新知.

  Encourage the students to go to the park and look at the clouds. It will be fun

  6.Class closing.

  Finally ,class closing with homework.在课堂大量口语练习的基础上,回家让学生们写写,初步培养学生书面表达的能力。

  六、板书设计

  This is my writing on the blackboard.

  我将本课重点语言知识放置在与本课话题相关的公园场景中呈现,让重点更加突出,有利于同学们记忆和复习。
