二、教材分析
本单元课题为How can I get to the nearest bank?，主要内容为问路和指路，与生活真实联系紧密，容易从现实中找到对话题材，调动学生参与课堂活动的兴趣。本单元计划分六个课时完成。今天我要说的是第一个课时的教学设计。这个课时内容包括new words teaching, lead-in,和dialogue A三个部分，即本单元的单词和课文中的1－6个活动项目。在这个课时里，要引导学生完成对问路和指路的单词、词组和句子等三个输入方面知识的积累，为下节课speaking的输出以及再下节课writing的输出打下基础，做好铺垫。总之，本节课内容紧凑，对整个单元的学习起着至关重要的作用。
三、教学目标
1.知识和能力目标
1）能记住本节课所学的单词和短语的意思
2）能听懂课本中听力材料的对话内容
3）能正确用英语描述方位，学会用英语简单问路和指路。
2.情感目标
通过学习问路和指路的对话，强化学生“路在嘴边”的观念，即使到陌生环境也不必紧张和忧虑，只要虚心请教，勤于问路就能到达想去的地方。同时，引导学生乐于助人，积极为初来乍到的新同学，陌生人指路的美好情感。
四、教学重难点分析
1.本节课的教学重点在于让学生掌握用于指路和问路的单词、词组和句子。
2.难点在于把所学的知识应用于实际的对话中。
五、教法设计
本课主要运用“任务型教学法”，并辅助于竞赛法和情景交际教学法。并且课堂教学过程中贯穿过程性评价。
