It was Sunday today. Everyone was sad, because Dad had a work plan. He wanted everyone to work at home.
Every kid has some jobs to do. Kipper was fed up. He didn’t want to wash the dishes for a long time. “It’s a dirty job,” said Kipper. And Chip had to clean up all the rooms. He was tired and angry: “Why can Dad have a rest and watch TV?” Everyone worked hard except Dad. Dad was free. “That’s not fair.” moaned Chip.
After they worked for a longtime, Chip and Kipper wanted to play a trick on Dad. Kipper had an idea. First Kipper ran to the kitchen, and shouted: “Oh! There is 100 RMB here!” Dad ran to the kitchen when he heard it. Chip ran to the TV and cut off the power of the TV while Day was in the kitchen. Dad came back after a while, and he wanted to go on watching TV, but Dad couldn’t watch TV. He looked here and there, and he couldn’t find out the problem. Suddenly, Kipper came in and said: “I can make the TV well.” Dad laughed and said: “How?” Kipper took the dishes to Dad and said: “Please wash these dishes and then I can tell you.” Dad groaned: “OK, if it doesn’t work, you will do more jobs for it.” Kipper said: “I will. If I can, will you do the rest jobs?” They had a bet with Dad. When Dad was washing the dishes, Chip ran to the room and said: “And please clean the rest rooms, please. I need time to fix it up.”
At last, Kipper and Chip were watching TV, but Dad was cleaning here and there. When Dad came to the room, he looked at Chip and Kipper and said: “Let’s wait and see.”
