The number of short- sighted students rises sharply in recent years. 22.89% of the primary school students wear glasses. And the short-sighted middle school students make up approximately 55.29%.High school students inevitably account for the highest percentage, which is 70.3%.
Parents and teachers subscribe to the explanation that the failure of the eye sight relates to computers and cellphones. It is normal that many teenagers have a deep affection for these products. However, the affection always develops into addiction, which causes the eye sight’s to fail. At the same time, students think that more homework is the leading cause of this phenomenon. To be honest, I always feel utterly worn out after finishing my assignments, especially for the eyes.
Eyes are fundamental to daily lives. Protecting eyes is without doubt a daily routine for everyone. Time spent on those electronic devices are expected to be reduced. Not until we reduce the time spent on cellphones do our eyes feel better.
